THE REAL DEAL ACT

After carefully evaluating the challenges facing working families, I have made a clear decision: my campaign will focus on one comprehensive solution- the Real Deal Act. Rather than offering piecemeal fixes, this plan addresses the basic necessities every American family needs to thrive- affordable healthcare, a living wage, retirement security, childcare and long-term care. 

I invite you to read my proposal and judge it on its merits. I believe the Real Deal Act offers a practical, fiscally responsible roadmap that modernizes our economy, strengthens families, and restores the promise that hard work should provide a secure and dignified life. 

As a mother, a registered nurse, cancer survivor, a thirty-nine-year Army veteran and retired Army Colonel, I have spent a lifetime caring for others and I will spend my time as your Congress woman advocating for our family needs.
